Reporting
Lightspeed Filter features a variety of user reports that can be viewed such as; Blocked, Flagged, Overridden, Searches, Videos, Web Activity Log, and Online Activity.
First, select the Reports section on the lefthand side of the Dashboard and you'll see a dropdown menu with the different report sections to choose from.
User Report
The Users tab can be found under Settings > Users (Legacy).
By default, users are organized alphabetically and the table gives a quick overview showing their name, user type, grade level, and the number of groups they're in. You can quickly find a user by entering their first and last name or student ID in the search bar.
To generate an individual student report, click on the student name from your Group to see their User Information Panel. This panel displays specific reporting about the selected user. The Overview and Website History tabs summarize usage by the user and allow you to see as much detail as needed. The Rules tab summarizes the filtering rules that are applied to this user. The Details tab offers details about the user themselves.
You can set the time range for generating individual reports by selecting the Date Range as seen above. The time range can be from Today to the Previous 30 Days.
Sharing a User Report
You can share an individual user report by clicking on the box with the three dots in the upper right corner and select Share.
This will create a link for you to share with whomever you choose (To help maintain user privacy, this link will expire). Select between 24 hrs to 7 days for the time until the link expires. Click Copy to save the link. Paste this link and share as needed.
These reports will be viewed as student records. User reports will be used for disciplinary reports. Once this report is shared and sent, it should not be shared with anyone besides respective admin and the students family.
The user report link will look as seen below.
