Troubleshooting on Student and Instructor devices:
1. Check device for macOS updates
- Install updates if needed.
2. Check device for Last Reboot
- Reboot device if longer than 5+ days.
3. Verify iCloud Sign-In
- Check iCloud Sign-In Status
- Open Settings on the device.
- Tap on [Your Name] at the top of the screen.
- Ensure that the device is signed in with the correct APS iCloud account.
4. Sign Out/Sign Back Into iCloud
- If Signed In but Still Offline
- In Settings, tap on [Your Name].
- Scroll down and tap Sign Out.
- Follow the prompts to sign out of iCloud.
- Go back to Settings and tap Sign In. You will need to authenticate through MyAccess after entering APS Apple ID.
5. Turn Bluetooth On for All Devices
- Ensure Bluetooth is Enabled
- Open Settings.
- Tap Bluetooth.
- Make sure the Bluetooth toggle is turned On.
- Repeat this process on all devices involved.
6. Verify on the APS Network
- Check Network Connection
- Ensure that all devices are connected to the APS network.
- Open Settings and tap Wi-Fi.
- Verify that the device is connected to the correct APS network.
- If not connected, select the APS network and enter the required credentials.
